The least you can say about our Bed & Breakfast 'Le Mont d'Or' is, that it is a beautiful house with unique surroundings.
Torgny is situated about 8 km from Virton the Capital of 'La Douce Gaume', 300 meters from the French border, it is the most southern little village in Belgium, with a population of only 200 people!
Our best features are on one hand the breathtaking views over the Gaume valley and French country side, and on the other hand our large garden with old fruit trees, the patios all oriented to the South, private parking, all of this in our Provence-like sunny climate.
Here awaits you a warm welcome by Jan & Maggy in an authentic, rustic house with 4 charming guestrooms with lots of eye for detail. In this little piece of paradise you can enjoy beautiful nature (the 1st Belgian nature reservation is 300 meters away, all in walking distance) either relax by our pool, our large garden or explore the area with lots of bike, and walking trails.
There are plenty of daytrips like going to the French citadel Montmedy, the ruins of Montquintin, the medieval French village Marville, Virton for some shopping and of course the Abbey of Orval...so plenty of choices!
Our prices are very reasonable for this 1864 old house full of character, with an atmosphere from the past which will make you feel relaxed and welcome.

Prices include all energy costs, towels, sheets, kitchen and bath towels, soap, cleaning supplies and clean sheets every week. Extra single bed (for child, only in la Belle Fleur) upon request (15 euro/day). Full kitchen for your convenience. Deck with BBQ. Wood for the fireplace. After the first load: 15 euro/weekend or 25 euro/week.
For cleaning service we ask 100 euro. The deposit is 250 euro/weekend or 500 euro/week.
Pets are allowed (only in Or'val) upon request. Pet cost 10 euro a night.
No smoking inside.
Open all year.
