Ensconced in the bocage "sarthois" and only 15 km away from Le Mans the Eporcé castle is a very elegant mansion from the 17th century surrounded by a magnificent park.
For a half motorway drive from Paris to the Atlantic Ocean, Eporcé is a private property which welcomes outside guests. Remy de Scitivaux and his wife are welcoming everyone like personal friends. This for a very short stay or a longer journey in the "Sarthe" region.

Open all year round, we are watching you personally to make sure you feel home at "Eporce". Whatever the seasons when you will decide to visit, you will rediscover the atmosphere, the family warmth and the style of old family mansion.

At any moment of the day you could stroll in a very diverse, enjoying and charming park. You will appreciate especially the coolness of the trees arranged in staggered rows during springtime when it is covered by wild hyacinthes and in autumn by cyclamens.

Walking around the moat, and depending time of day, you will look for our "lazy" fishes rarely disturbed by any adventurous fisherman… If you wish to find a peaceful haven to read, dream or have a discreet nap, you will be tempted by the "Petit Parterre" in the shadow of the chapel.

Or you will be tempted to visit the kitchen garden where a swimming pool is waiting for you.

Rooms

Welcoming you at Eporcé is a pleasure, if you fell at ease it will be our reward.

For this purpose we are offering to our guests 4 double room and a family suite with two individual rooms. A large bed or two twin beds, they are all decorated with antic furniture and completed with bathroom and shower bath, with separate WC.

Whether they are situated at the first or the second floor of the manor, the rooms are always very quiet and overlooking the park and beyond the countryside.

Pricing from 90 to 120 Euros, breakfast included.

Dinner

On request and only reserved for their guests, Remy and Lydia will proposed their guest-house meal. Following a family ritual, the evening will start by a drink offered in the lounge just before moving to the dining room.
Culinary expert, Lydia will cook special recipe, trying always to propose regional and local cuisine.
On the wine cellar side, Remy, a passionate will look upon your special taste and present the best of his choice. After dinner back to the lounge where coffee and herbal tea will be served.
