B&B Noordzee – Driehuis
This garden house with own entrance, shower, toilet, large sauna and garden is situated in a quiet street in the green village of Driehuis, between IJmuiden and Haarlem.
A single- and doubleroom are also available on the second floor in the main-(double)house with sharing toilet, shower/steamcanine and fitnessroom.
In walking distance there are woods and dunes (the National Park Zuid-Kennemerland) and monumental estates.
Seabeaches are reached within 10 minutes by car or 20 minutes by bike.
The recreational area Spaarnwoude is also close by.
It takes 7 minutes to walk to the trainstation that can either lead you to the finest shopping city of the Netherlands: Haarlem (15 minutes) or to the scintillating metropole Amsterdam (30 minutes).
Many different routes pass through our street or are nearby: biking, walking, Nordic-walking, and horsebackriding. (see: Area)
At night you can dine almost around the corner in the attractive Grand Cafe Valerius (make a reservation!). http://www.grandcafevalerius.nl/ tel.0255-520086), or in old Cafe Middeloo.
In short: one week will not prove enough to see and enjoy all the possibilities.
