In the department of Puy de Dôme,
part of the Auvergne region, in the heart
of the "Pays des Combrailles"
you will find our Bed-and-Breakfast.

The Combrailles is an oasis of calm and tranquillity in a beautiful part of France that has not yet been discovered by mass tourism.  Characteristic villages with old roman churches, winding rivers, lakes, fantastic views, hedgerows and woodland, myriads of beautiful hiking trails en above all... piece and quiet.

Maison les Combrailles is situated above and at the edge of the small castle town of Pionsat, with total freedom and privacy assured by its protective wall.
On the sunlit front terrace you can linger with a good glass of wine and a tasty meal.
The garden surrounding the house offers opportunities to relax in private: enjoy a siesta or sit down with a good book.

In the Auvergne you enjoy four true seasons.  The cold winter offers wonderful snowscapes, spring comes abruptly and with a wealth of flowers, the summer is long and warm, autumn a painting of fiery bright colours, often with a gentle 'indian summer' in October.

Maison les Combrailles is a wonderful place for your holiday or a layover on your journey to southern lands.

Rooms

The first floor of our home has three double bedrooms.  Room one is situated at the side of the house and has its own toilet and bathroom.  The other two rooms (2 and 3) face the front of the building and share the use of a bathroom and a separate toilet, both across the hallway opposite the rooms.  These two rooms each do have a wash basin.  As there is a connecting door, these two rooms can be used as a large family room/apartment.

Room 1 (with private bathroom and toilet)
Room and breakfast for two persons: € 60,- per night
                             
Rooms 2 and 3 (with shared bathroom and toilet across the hallway)

Rental of the rooms always includes bed linen, towels and breakfast.

Dinner

Several times per week
we serve full 4-course dinners
to our guests in our own home.
The price for such a dinner is
€ 19.50 excluding drinks.
In addition you can order an omelet
or a salad. We use as many
locally grown ingredients as possible,
such as tender beef (Blonde d'Aquitaine)
and pork from the local farm
"la Ferme des Caires" in Saint-Fargeol.
It is best to make your reservations
for dinner a day in advance, because
we buy our ingredients fresh.

Dit is een top B&B. De gastvrijheid is fantastisch.
Jan en Wilma hebben ons als familie ontvangen.
De kamers zijn zeer netjes. Het avondmaal en het ontbijt was zeer lekker.
De B&B is gelegen in een zeer rustige omgeving.
Echt een aanrader!!!!
