Situated halfway down France in the Charente Maritime a short drive from La Rochelle Le Moulin d"Annepont offers tranquility and charm in the centre of a small village surrounded by rolling country with woods and fields of vines and sunflowers.
The next village of Taillebourg 2km away is on the river Charente with riverside bars and restaurants and the remains of the chateau where Henry II honeymooned with Eleanor of Aquitaine in 1156. The region is full of interest from Roman Saintes complete with amphitheatre, Cognac and her famous distilleries, La Rochelle and her ancient harbour, Royan and her sandy beaches, the islands of Oléron and Ré, all within an easy drive.
Le Moulin offers a comfortable centre from which to explore this rich neighbouhood. Or if prefer the quiet life you can relax by the pool or shelter from the sun in the shade of our walnut trees and read a book.

- Rooms
5 Double rooms all with private bathroom and wc. 3 of these can be confirgured as twins or as super-king doubles. An extra single bed is available for a young person as an option. 3 adults in one room is not really possible - too much of a squeeze !!
A large guest sittingroom also contains a kitchen which is available for our guests by prior arrangement. A supplement of 10 euro per day is added to your bill if you wish to use the kitchen.

There are 2 deluxe rooms at 85 euro for one night or 75 for 2 nights or more, breakfast included.
There are 3 standard rooms at 80 euro for one night or 70 for 2 nights or more, breakfast included.
The entire accommodation can be taken on a self-catering basis for 300 euro per day for a minimum stay of 3 days (not high season) or for a minimum of 7 days in the high season (July/August)
An extra single bed is possible at 20 euro supplement which includes breakfast.
A single person in a room obtains a reduction of 10 euro per day.

Regret credit cards not taken. Cash, French and English cheques are no problem.

Continental breakfast is usually on the patio and is included.
- Dinner
Dinner may be available by arrangement.

There's parking for 5 cars.
- Pets
Pets are accepted but are not allowed in the bedrooms. They need to overnight in your car.

No smoking in the house please.

No special disabled facilities.
