Cueva Pura Vida – Pulpite (Cullar)

In 2010 we went to Andalusia looking for a cave dwelling, a house of which the rooms where excavated out of the mountainrocks, to start a B&B.

We fell in love with a very quietly situated cavehouse in the hamlet of Pulpite (Cúllar de Baza - Granada), in a beautiful and peaceful neighbourhood with several lakes, nature parks, almond and olive orchards.

Cúllar de Baza (6 km / 3.7 miles) is the nearest town with lots of restaurants and bars, shops, market,... of which Pulpite is a small hamlet with beautiful panoramic views. In this hamlet of barely 135 inhabitants you can easily find rest and it's lovely to enjoy the sun-drenched nature.

Cueva Pura Vida, even iets anders !
Cueva Pura Vida is mooi rustig gelegen en omgeven door een prachtig Spaanse landschap. Van hieruit kun je alle richtingen uit voor diverse activiteiten : een stadje bezoeken, naar zee, of… gewoon lekker genieten, ontspannen in de gezellige B&B. Alles is voorzien : lekker uitgebreid ontbijt met zelfgebakken brood, vers geperst sinaasappelsap…. De grotwoning is zeer huiselijk en gezellig ingericht. Voor ons verblijf hadden wij een kamer en deze was prima in orde !
Els en Jürgen zijn dan ook heel gastvrij en zullen er alles aan doen om het je naar je zin te maken.
Wij hebben al een kijkje kunnen nemen in de grotwonig en deze zijn echt een aanrader . Laat jullie verrassen !

Het verblijf in deze grotwoning was een aangename verrassing: verkoeling overdag, stilte en duisternis voor een goede nachtrust en 's avonds gezellig rond de houtkachel.
Goede uitvalsbasis voor het verkennen van verschillende Andalusische dorpjes en toppers zoals Granada, Guadix, Lorca, ... Gastvrij verblijf dankzij de huiselijke gezelligheid, huisgemaakte broodsoorten en confituur, uitgebreid met typische Spaanse kazen en vleeswaren. Tevens was er een ruime keuze aan vers fruit en yoghourt.
