B&B Maas aan het bos – Ermelo

The speaking name (Maas on the woods) is well chosen: from your room you have a direct view  of the vast Veluwe woods, they start right across the street. An ideal place to find some rest amidst forests and unplanted dunes eroded by the wind.

 But not only rest, there are lots of possibilities for an active holiday. Right from the doorstep you can start a walking tour or a cycling tour. We have a number of these tours ready made for you e.g. the “boomwandelroute”that takes you along special trees in the village or the historic village tour on which you discover the many picturesque and historic houses to be seen in Ermelo.

You are also close to longdistance walking tracks like the Jac Gazenbeekweg (65 km)  or a bit further on the Veluws Zwerfpad, a wander tour of 357 km.

And if you prefer planning your own route you’ll find the “Fietsroutenetwerk” the ideal way to do it. These routes take you along quiet roads or cycling tracks, just start pedalling from one number to the other, all signposted of course.

You prefer visiting cities or concerts? Then it is good to know that we are just half an hours drive from Amersfoort, Zwolle and Amersfoort and there is a good train connection to e.g. Amsterdam .

After a tiring or exciting day you’ll find a warm welcome in one of our attractive guestrooms supplied with facilities that will make your stay comfortable also in case you want to relax for a day. A nice bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet is situated on the first floor .
